Prospective Students

One of the main objectives in creating this website was to give all prospective students and inside-look our Atmospheric Sciences program. In some cases, high school seniors and transferring students are not aware of the type of program offered at ULM. On this page, you will find a variety of helpful links that provide more in-depth information into the Atmospheric Sciences program. Among these links, you will find the 2004-2005 program curriculum and descriptions for those classes. ULM has excellent physical facilities available for teaching, research, and public service. The Climatic Research Center (CRC) is operated by the students and is an officially recognized Department of Commerce cooperative observing station. We have a state-of-the-art weather instrumentation site. The facility is a repository for historical weather data for the region, and also functions as a weather station with real time access to virtually every piece of weather data in the country. The Geosciences Laboratory also consists of computers and other tools useful for teaching and research. Any questions additional questions about the program can be directed to any email addresses found on the Contact Us page.
